Mizzou vs Illini one last time

It certainly is a shame that in just 3 short hours it will be the last time for some unknown amount of years that the Missouri Tigers and Illinois Fighting Illini suit up on the field at the Edward Jones Dome in their annual college football Arch Rivalry.

The schools will continue to meet on the hardwood every winter just before Christmas, but there is something different about showing up in a dome filled with 65,000 people; one half orange and navy and the other black and gold.

The excitement in the stadium is always electric, the fans have a great time, and unfortunately for Illini fans, Mizzou always wins!

This year won't be any different.  Mizzou should take the field, even without star running back Derek Washington, and defeat the Illini.  We're predicting a high scoring affair as defense has generally been hard to come by throughout this rivalry.  Look for Mizzou to win 47-24 in the last showdown between the two schools.
