Carmelo Anthony Continues 'Melo' Drama

Carmelo Anthony wants out of Denver, likely so he can team up
with Amare Stoudemire and the New York Knicks
Carmelo Anthony is not happy in Denver, and likely will not be ever again.  Unless he is wearing a New York Knicks jersey in the visitors locker room that is.
Yes, the Nuggets opened the season on Wednesday night with a 110-88 win over Utah, a game in which Anthony poured in 23 points for Denver.

Yes, coach George Karl is back on the sidelines calling the shots and providing stability to the team.

Anthony still thinks its time for a change.

"If I do nothing now, I'm never going to do anything. I feel like my time is now to make a decision if I want to leave or if I want to stay."

That decision, is simply if Anthony wants to play for the Denver Nuggets past this season, or even for the remainder of this season.

I think, definitively, the answer is a resounding no.

Anthony watched 3 peers and fellow Olympians with Team U.S.A. join forces in South Beach in a united stand and push to win a Championship.  The Heat have become the talk of the NBA and will sell out arenas all over the league for the entire season.  The "New Big 3" will have endorsement deals ringing the cash registers, providing they win on the court together.

Anthony just wants a piece of the puzzle.

Could you blame Anthony for wanting to jump ship, get out of Denver and play in say, I don't know, New York?

Anthony is salivating at no only the opportunity to be paired with Amare Stoudemire, but also to play under head coach Mike D'Antoni, whose run-and-gun style of play will also increase Anthony's shot attempts, something Melo loves.

Melo should keep the push for the Nuggets front office to make the move.  Anthony wants to go.  The Knicks would love to have him.

Please Denver, just do the right thing and give us what everybody wants.

Another super-power in the NBA, this time, centered at Madison Square Garden in New York.
