So, USC gets absolutely smoked, at home, by Stanford. It wasn't even close, in any facet of the game.
And yet, despite two previous losses already this year to lowly, terrible, dreadful, (sorry D'Marco Farr) Washington and the they aren't quite as good as everybody thought they were Oregon Ducks, USC came into this game ranked number 9.
My question is, how?
Seriously, how is a team with a freshman quarterback, an inexperienced defense, without a signature win, ranked in the top 10 after being blown out by Oregon and losing to a JV Washington team.
I'm flabbergasted (is that a word????). I bet USC drops in the polls, a huge drop, all the way down to 14. Ha! They should be 20 or lower, or not ranked at all.
And how about Stanford. Two big wins in two weeks.
I can't wait to see Jim Harbaugh put Charlie Weis in the unemployment line where he belongs in two weeks.
