Helping lead the Rams to a 3-4 record is never easy to do.
Neither is wearing the jersey of a rival of your Alma mater days after your former school suffered a crushing defeat.
That is exactly what Bradford did today at Rams Park in Earth City, Missouri.
Bradford, a former quarterback at Oklahoma, lost a bet to a fellow rookie and former Missouri Tiger, wide-receiver Danario Alexander after the Tigers defeated the Oklahoma Sooner this past weekend 36-27 and made good on his bet by wearing a Mizzou jersey with his college number 14 and Bradford stitched on the back.
Alexander knew that his jersey would be a hit.
"The whole Mizzou Nation is going to like it," Alexander said. "Check him out."
Bradford certainly was a good sport, smiling briefly while wearing the black and gold.
Bradford was even able to crack a couple jokes. When asked if he would've considered going to Mizzou, the quarterback quickly responded.
"Absolutely not," he said, "I wanted to win Big 12 championships, so I went to Oklahoma."
Good for Bradford. Its great to see that a star player and the leader of the franchise can have so much fun, even at his own expense.
The Rams are hoping that Bradford and Alexander can continue to build a chemistry on the field that is as tight as the one they seem to have off the field at this point. Both are talented and make the Rams a team to think about going forward throughout the season.
