Who was the 2009 NFC Leading Rusher?

If you guessed Steven Jackson, then you are 100% correct.  Evidently St. Louis Rams head football coach Steve Spagnuolo would've missed this question if he was participating in Final Jeopardy because hand-offs to the all-pro running back didn't happen in the 4th quarter and its INEXCUSABLE!

Yes, the 2010 version of the St. Louis Rams looked much better to start the season, but the result was much of the same, as the Rams lost 17-13 to the Arizona Cardinals in their home opener at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.  It was much of the same song and dance, as the Rams went down in defeat against a division rival in a very winnable game.

I put this one on the Coach.  Its year two Coach Spags.  No more excuses for a blown game plan.

Yes, the team played with grit and showed they are indeed much improved.

But how do you allow your rookie QB Sam Bradford to throw the ball 55 times in his first ever career start?

Steve Spagnuolo should be charged with attempted manslaughter as he certainly tried to get his $50 million guaranteed rookie QB killed in his first ever official NFL action.

Somebody please tell the coach that the Rams possess probably the best all-around running back in the entire NFL in Stephen Jackson.

Yes, SJ39 rushed the ball 22 times for 81 yards, but in a contest where neither team could take advantage of any situation that was handed to them on a golden spoon, pound the ball with your all-pro over and over again and control the ball and run the clock.

It was good to see Bradford play so well and it looks like he has quickly formed a rapport with newly acquired Mark Clayton, but this team will never win with him throwing the ball 55 times.

Sam the Ram will end up in a morgue before the Rams win a game if he throws the ball 55 times against a team that is actually good.

If 'Action Jackson" carries the ball 35 times in this game, the Rams are 1-0 after week 1.  If this team is going to win any games this season, it will be on the shoulders of Stephen Jackson with an assist from the rookie stud-muffin and today was the perfect chance too showcase this game plan and exploit the one advantage you have over any other NFL team, STEPHEN JACKSON!

There are no more blown assignments or false starts from Alex Barron.  That's because he is in Dallas. There aren't any more 15 yard personal foul penalties against Richie Incognito, because he is likely in an insane asylum.

The blown assignment was made by the head coach.  If he doesn't correct it next week, new owner Stan Kroenke should hold him accountable.

Hopefully we see a heavy dose of 'Action Jackson' next week on the road at Oakland.  Otherwise, we may be picking up Sam Bradford's limbs out of the San Francisco Bay.
