Peyton Hillis - NFL Player of the Week - Week 9

Peyton Hillis is a brickhouse.
Peyton Hillis was traded during the past off-season from the Denver Broncos to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for embattled former Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn.

Guess who is getting the better end of this deal?

Hillis ran for 184 yards on 29 carries, including two touchdowns during the Cleveland Browns 34-14 thrashing of the New England Patriots.  Hillis also pitched in 3 receptions for 36 yards, serving as a valuable safety valve for Browns rookie quarterback Colt McCoy.

Hillis has quickly become the second most popular Peyton in the league and because of his outstanding performance in week 9, Peyton Hillis is this week's ManSpeak NFL Player of the Week.

Hillis was the talk of Mike and Mike on Monday morning's show, as Golic continually talked about his "guns" while ESPN's NFL analyst Mike Ditka said Hillis had a nice "tush".

Either way, the Denver Broncos have to be pinching themselves for trading this horse for a back-up, check that, third string quarterback.

The Browns have quickly become one of the most improved teams in the NFL behind the play of Hillis, McCoy, and a defense that is stingy and fits in with the rest of the AFC North.

The Browns won't make the playoffs, but Peyton Hillis and crew won't make it easy for others to make it either.
