It was, honestly a boring night of football on Thanksgiving this year as none of the games really were ever close.
The Man Speak was able to pull out a 2-1 record throughout it all and we'll see if we can improve on that with the rest of the games this week.
All lines are as of Saturday, November 28 at 8:30 am Central Standard time and are presented by LVSC Open
Indianapolis at Houston (+3.5)
Houston is coming off a short week and a tough loss and Indy has Peyton Manning. Enough said. Indianapolis 34 Houston 24
Cleveland (+14) at Cincinatti
Cincinatti needs to get back on track after that embarrasing loss to Oakland. The Browns, scored some points last week, but that was against Detroit. Cedric Benson is back and the Bengals get it done and cover. Cincinatti 38 Cleveland 17
Chicago (+10) at Minnesota
The Bears are desperate for a win and the Vikings are on cruise control. Because of that, I think it is close. Vikings pull it out, but Bears cover. Minnesota 24 Chicago 16
Miami at Buffalo (+4)
Buffalo stinks. They bore me. Miami will hold the ball and grind it out and as long as Ricky Williams stays healthy, I like them in this game. Miami 23 Buffalo 9
Arizona at Tennessee (+1)
Nobody knows if Kurt Warner can see straight yet and Matt Leinhert is brutal. Vince Young has his team playing ugly, but inspired and winning football. This is tough because it depends on Warner. I'm taking the Titans. Tennessee 27 Arizona 21
Seattle at St. Louis (+1.5)
Do we really need to play this game. Are the Football God's punishing us? I'll take St. Louis because everyday I pray for good thing to happen around Stephen Jackson. St. Louis 17 Seattle 13
Tampa Bay (+12) at Atlanta
Tampa is playing better under that rookie QB and Michael Turner may not play. Matt Ryan has had sort of a "Sophomore Slump". I'll take Tampa to cover at the least on the road. Atlanta 26 Tampa 24
Carolina at New York Jets (+3)
How many interceptions will Jake Delhomme throw? I say 1 and that Steve Smith has a huge day as the Panthers beat Rex Ryan's blitzing. Carolina 31 New York Jets 17
Jacksonville at San Francisco (+4.5)
The Jags aren't as good as their record says. The 49ers will do just enough to not only cover, but also win the game as Frank Gore goes nutso. San Francisco 27 Jacksonville 16
Kansas City (+12.5) at San Diego
This isn't worthy of a reason. San Diego 44 Kansas City 17
New England at New Orleans (+3)
In my eyes this is a gift. New Orleans is better team, and I'm getting 3 points. It will be entertaining. Get your popcorn ready. New Orleans 42 New England 38
Pittsburgh at Baltimore (Even)
If you like smash mouth football between two teams that aren't too fond of each other, watch this one on Sunday night. Big Ben is tough as nails, but look for him to leave early as Ray Lewis and Co. will get to him and rattle his cage. Ray Rice won't be able to run the ball against one of the NFL's best run defenses, but Flacco will find him in the screen game and he will do just enough to get it done. Baltimore 17 Pittsburgh 13
Enjoy!

5-6 yesterday. Not so hot. The Indy and Cinci games I missed on the spread. Need New Orleans to pull through in order to be 6-6 on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteGood job Saints! Over .500! Woohoo!
