MLB Pitcher of the Week

Jake Peavy was lost during his first 5 starts for the Chicago White Sox to begin the 2010 season.  His fastball was flat.  His slider was a frisby.  His change-up wasn't fooling anyone.

Whatever Peavy lost, he found last week. Jake Peavy is this week's ManSpeak MLB Pitcher of the Week.

Peavy turned in two gems against Toronto and Kansas City, easily winning both of his starts.  In 15 innings last week, Peavy managed to strikeout 17 batters while walking just one.  Peavy allowed just 7 hits and provided the Sox with the top of the line starter that manager Ozzie Guillen and GM Ken Williams were looking for when they traded for him late last year.

Peavy will look to continue his turn-a-round to the season and look to lower his 5.56 season ERA in his next start against the Royals.
