MLB Player of the Week

Ryan Braun

In helping to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-1 record while playing on the west coast against the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angelas Dodgers, Ryan Braun had himself quite a week. 

Braun was 11 for 27 for a .407 batting average in the span of six games.  Braun brought some power to the middle of the order throughout the week as well, hitting three doubles, a homerun, and knocking in 8 RBI's. 

Braun was a terror on the base paths as well, swiping 2 bags and scoring 12 runs for the Brewers who exploded offensively for the second time this season with a 17 run outburst against the D-Backs on Saturday. 

Braun hasn't just been good the past 7 days, as he is hitting .365 with 6 homeruns and 31 RBI's.  His power, speed, and consistency has been key for the NL Central 3rd place Milwaukee Brewers.
